Alternatively, if you host your own repository you can deploy the file there:
    mvn deploy:deploy-file -DgroupId=javax.transaction -DartifactId=jta -Dversion=1.0.1B -Dpackaging=jar -Dfile=/path/to/file -Durl=[url] -Drepository
